Outfit Of The Yesterday: Mauve + Coral + Gold + Black (Fancy Pants!)

Time for a change of pace!  It is no big secret that I am a huge fan of Valentino (& the ooh-la-la-rockstuds), so I have been pretty darn happy with all of the fun studded pieces that Zara has been carrying in their summer collection. They blend easily into my existing wardrobe and studs always match more studs, yes?

The Zara pants that I am wearing below, however, are a little…interesting. They are a dramatic wide-leg, not for the faint-of-super-skinny-denim hearts, and they are also really long. Incredibly long. I had them hemmed up an inch and a half (and am wearing 4.75 inch heel), so that’s an original inseam of about 36″. Yikes!

And while it looks like they are almost dragging on the floor a bit in the photo below, I promise they aren’t–I personally like to keep my pants a little on the long side, but the lightweight fabric lifts up nicely off the floor once I get truckin’.
