Pattern-mixing has been a trend that’s been around for a few years now, but with each season it seems to take a more intense-and-dizzying turn.  Case in point: Fall 2012 for labels like Prada, Miu Miu, Tucker, Moschino (and others) shows a more amped up, almost cartoon-ish approach to wild combinations:
