Outfit Of The Yesterday: Feather Weather

This skirt is so amazing that I couldn’t look at any of the rest of your outfit. I like that the feathers are bigger and more substantial than other wispy-feather skirts I have seen…it makes it look more high-end! :)

You know, I’m always too chicken to buy pieces that either look like they’ll be too delicate for me to wear or seem like they’ll require a lot of maintenance, but I love that you not only own that skirt but wear it. So faaaaabulous!

I think my favorite piece is a swingy sea-blue silk trench coat with ties from Shipley & Halmos from a couple of years ago. I don’t get to wear it nearly enough with the weather around here. I just picked up a grey shearling jacket that I am loving, though, so we’ll see when the weather turns if my trench stays out front!

Love this skirt!! Want it in my closet now :) Though I do wonder if you spend the whole time worrying if the feathers are falling off or getting bent/broken?

Man, I wish I would run into you around town sometime! You always looks so chic — something that people don’t strive for in Denver. Well done. Makes me want to step it up every time I step out the door!
