Outfit Of The Yesterday: Before The Snow Starts To Fly (Emerson Fry Leopard Coat + Anya Hindmarch Apple Clutch + Darling UK Coral Lace Dress)

♫: Apple of My Eye – Big Boi

Who else is ready for spring? I know that I am! But unfortunately, I wore this outfit & snapped these pictures right before we got our biggest snowfall of the entire year on Sunday. It never fails–Colorado’s snowiest months are always the ones leading right up to spring.

I fell in love with the happy color of this coral Darling UK shift dress, and while I find shift dresses a little hard to wear sometimes (it looks like I’m wearing a papersack! so hard not to belt!), I really liked the cut and shape of the dress, too. It flares out into a very slight A-line shape. It is definitely a mini-length, however–I actually sized up one size from my normal for some extra length with the dress, and while its shorter length doesn’t bother me I can’t help but wonder how short it would be on anyone of normal height and stature.  If you want the dress for yourself, ASOS is actually running a promotion for up to $50 off on select orders ($10 off $100 w/ “USASAVE10″; $30 off $150 w/ “USASAVE30″, or $50 off of $250 w/ “USASAVE50″)–limited time only.

I love the colours! So inspiring as I have a coral red dress which I sometimes find a bit boring but will try this different colour combination.
