Outfit Of The Yesterday: Coral, Take II
♫: One Love to Another – Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros
As most of you have probably noticed, aside from my YSL Arty’s, my wedding ring, and my engagement ring–I don’t wear a whole lotta expensive jewelry. I’ve always been a fan of digging around at places like Forever 21, Target, J Crew, Kendra Scott, Etsy and Ann Taylor for fun and trendy pieces, and I always seem to get the most compliments on those cheaper pieces, too–go figure.
But I fell in love with this Sequin necklace when I first spied it in the “new arrivals” at Charm & Chain a few months ago, and after spending some time digging around for a cheaper alternative (and finding nothing!) and then accidentally bumping into Ms. Jean Shrimpton and her amazing beaded shift dress on Pinterest, that foxy-foxy lady:
Uff da. While the Sequin necklace is not going to break the bank, it is a little expensive for what I like to spend on costume jewelry–but oh so worth it. The necklace jingles a bit whenever I make a sudden movement, which totally freaks Kitty and Petunia out (do they think Santa is on his way to kidnap them?), and pairs just as well with casual sweaters as it does with dresses and fancier blouses. Love:
