Outfit Of The Yesterday: Valentine’s Day + The J Crew Crystal Foliage Necklace
Just a quick little Valentine’s Day date night outfit. We celebrated a day early (Friday night!) while the weather was still nice & toasty warm, so bare legs and flats were worn all the way. I use to think that themed dressing on a holiday was a little cheesy (pink and red on Valentine’s Day, how original) but I had a near & dear co-worker that was the queen of themed dressing. Every holiday she would give it her all–endless Christmas vests and sweaters, a necklace made of clothes-pin ghosts for Halloween, and (of course!) pink and red for Valentine’s Day. She passed away two years ago this past January and I think of her often this time of year, so this is my little ode to her.
