Here’s a quick little outfit from back when we had a big snow a few weeks ago. My husband and I were doing some major shopping for our home remodel a few weekends ago (with an older home it never ends, eh?) and we decided to jet over to the Cherry Creek Mall to check out Restoration Hardware’s new-ish flagship store (which is four stories tall and insane) to see what they had to offer. Bath mats and towel hooks and I legit don’t understand what this is and why it is $595, hooray! Stay fun, RH, stay fun.
But while we were there I noticed that the shiny new (huge!) Free People store had opened up as well. So I popped in to just take a peek I swear, spotted this sweater, and it was love at first sight. I’m usually not a huge fan of slouchy oversized sweaters, mostly because I’m only 5’2″ and I therefore tend to pretty much drown in them, but there’s something different about this one. It’s super soft, great for layering over pretty bralettes & tanks, and can be belted quite easily, too. It also (surprisingly) tucks well into skirts, is machine washable, and has wrap-style front that’s perfect for showcasing necklaces.
I’m glad I found it! And I’ll be featuring a few more outfits with it coming up (with some better photos of it not layered under a parka), so stay tuned.
