Outfit Of The Yesterday: Olive + Mustard + Peach + Taupe (+ Mumford and Sons at Red Rocks Amphitheater)

♫: The World is Watching – Two Door Cinema Club

Hello again, you guys! I didn’t mean to have it be nearly a week since my last Outfit Of The Day post, but with friends & family being in Colorado for some end-of-summer celebrating, I now have a bunch of outfit pictures waiting (and waiting, and waiting) to be edited & posted.  So let’s get to it, okay.

We were lucky to score tickets to see Mumford & Sons at Red Rocks Amphitheater last night, and we were incredibly lucky to get tickets to (unbeknownst to us) the very last show on their tour.

And not only was it their last show, but it was being filmed as well, for a documentary–meaning we got to see a SHOW. I’ve always heard that they were a great band to see live, but wow! It blew me away. I didn’t bring a good camera with (so I apologize for iPhoning-it-in), but here you can see one of the hovering cameras right behind us, swinging to catch footage (along with three more pics I got before my iPhone died):

{film crew + totally creepy eye-bomb}

{weird things happen when we are bored and drunk and YOU WILL NEVER UNSEE IT.} {and dude, the dude behind us.}

And here is footage of their finale (“The Cave”) at Red Rocks, complete with a super bouncy crowd and confetti guns going off above us at around the 3-minute mark. Amazing:

On to an outfit!  I think we are all guilty of buying things only to have them sit barely worn in our closets, which is exactly what happened with the wrap skirt that I am wearing below. I bought it last year, and while I liked it at the time, it got lost in the remodel/changing seasons shuffle and remained tucked away for quite a few months.

I wear a lot of skirts, but wrap skirts are probably my favorite to wear. The draping adds texture, and the two overlapped panels allow for easy waddling & walking.  Love it:
